About

DSC04592-4.jpg

We are a sustainable retail boutique specializing in custom furnishings, as well as decor, gifts and accessories – all handcrafted from repurposed materials. In our design and furniture showroom, you'll find pieces that have been selected for their utility, creativity, and modern re-purposed nature. Our incredible products are fabricated from the most unsuspecting raw materials – boxcar flooring, drum cymbals, bicycle tires, car hoods, wine barrels, old machinery, and so much more. The majority of our goods are made by Colorado artisans and craftspeople, although we do source across the country and world. The shop is ever-changing so stop on by to see what's new!

Daniel LouisFounder & Owner

Daniel Louis, a Colorado native, returned to Denver in 2008 after graduating from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a degree in Fine Arts. In the summer of 2010, Daniel decided to take a different approach to the green revolution. Rather than focusing broadly on the ever increasing number of eco-friendly products,  Daniel chose to focus on products made from resources already in existence and so Revampt was born!

A major part of his inspiration in reusing materials came from Design Build Bluff.  An amazing non-profit organization through the University of Utah. It consists of architecture students who design and build homes for impoverished families on the Navajo reservation in the four corners region.  Learning to work as a group, locate abundant reclaimed resources, and hand build homes was a experience of a lifetime.  When items are made from secondhand materials, they gain character that simply cannot be replicated.  Since he has two young sons, Daniel believes that everyone should think progressively to help enhance future generations.  Using materials that have already been processed is a perfect way to start.

Kate LangleyShowroom Manager & Designer

Kate joined Revampt in 2017, shortly after moving from Minneapolis. She moved to Denver to be closer to the mountains (and warmer weather). With a bachelors in Retail Merchandising from UMN Twin Cities, she has over 15 years of experience working in the industry (design/production, visual merchandising, sales, etc).  Kate shines when she’s collaborating with fellow creatives and helping customers find or design the right piece for their home. She worked as a florist before starting at Revampt so she insisted that we carry houseplants at the shop!

When she's not at Revampt, Kate and her husband are probably creating ceramic, leather, and macrame goods under the name, Ninth House Goods. Likely though, they're out on a hike in the Rocky Mountains with their dog, Sisi.

Dana HoffmanFurniture and Design Specialist

Dana is the second member of the Revampt team to come all the way from Minneapolis. She’s currently studying to earn a degree in interior design from Arapahoe Community College. With five years of experience in marketing and customer service, she has worked in several different positions to give her the unique edge that helps her thrive in the showroom.

Dana spends most of her free time exploring Denver’s breweries and the great outdoors with her husband and their fur baby. If she’s not in Colorado, there’s a safe bet she’ll be wandering around in her favorite place – northern Montana.

Theresa Capllonch, Design and Furniture Specialist

Theresa is the newest member to join the Revampt team coming all the way from Kailua, Hawaii. With a Bachelors in Marketing Communications, she is passionate when it comes to branding.

On her days off, you can find Theresa sketching up designs in a coffee shop, creating jewelry pieces for her business, Vixin Jewelry or in the mountains learning how to snowboard.
