If you’ve ever been into Revampt, you know that we love nothing more than to help customers create personalized pieces of furniture that they will cherish for years to come. This love is second only to the enjoyment we get from the looks of amazement people have when they browse through our store and discover new things made from older materials. Backpacks made from bicycle tires? Coasters from old road signs? Chairs from red wine barrel staves – you’ve got to be kidding me! These are just some things we overhear daily at Revampt. But in addition to astounding the public with our unique, hand-made, upcycled products, we also seek to inspire individuals to find ways to revamp parts of their own lives. That’s why we’ve decided to start this blog to share some simple and fun upcycling projects you can try at home.
This week’s upcycling theme is PALLETS!! Used in the shipping industry, pallets are typically an inexpensive species of lumber. They are used a few times then scrapped. This makes them the perfect candidate for a DIY upcycling project! Get inspired by the many uses of pallets in the images below.
Check out more fun ways to reuse pallets on our Pinterest page.
(For those of you who don’t know what Pinterets is, it’s essentially a online community where you get to share aka “pin” all the beautiful and fun ideas, images, and video’s you find on the web. You are able to create “boards” with a variety of different themes to organize all of the fun things you find.)
What are some of ways that you have used pallet’s creatively? We’d love to know!
