Pick Your VaseRevampt Recycled bottles

The type of vase you choose will determine what type of arrangement you will create. A wide mouthed vessel is perfect for creating a loose and natural arrangement with cascading greenery and more movement. A smaller mouthed bud vase is going to be a smaller arrangement with fewer flowers. Be creative in your vases, opt for boxes, baskets, old rain boots, tea cups or even wine bottles would make creative artistic arrangements!

Anything goes when you create your arrangement. Choose items that you love, or you find beauty in.   Greenery of varying lengths and types work beautifully together, as well as sticks and budding branches. Collect blossoming flowers as well, or purchase these from the local grocer to fill in gaps.

The Base

Begin with the greenery. Place the longer stemmed flowers in same direction the greens are falling towards. If you have larger, lush blossoms, place these in the center closer to the rim of the vase, as in height. Create depth by varying the sizes, textures and heights of blossoms in the same direction and flow of the greenery.

The Vignette

The secret to creating an artistic arrangement is seeing the beauty in variation. Vary the height, and texture to create a beautiful vignette. Don’t worry about it being perfect, it’s supposed to be rustic and natural!
